How is this handled in the contest? Game was suspended in the bottom of the 7th after Cubs took the lead in the top half after scoring 4 runs.

Hmmm. For contests, that's a good question. I'd imagine that it's No Action anyway because:

a.) There will be a line for the suspended game resuming tomorrow.
b.) Pitchers have changed (or rather, Listed pictures at today's prices are out of the picture)
c.) nothing more.... (just because I want to list 3 things, LOL)

However, what the mods could do is allow a 4th pick tmrw if a player today chose one of those teams & still want to play either side in the resumption of the suspended game tomorrow...

...then again, with doubleheaders after a rain out, we still have a max of 3 picks anyway (and that you don't have the 3rd pick from the day before to use).

• suspended games
• rained out games

Our plays are NA, however, we can count them as "attempted picks" for the 200 minimum picks requirement. So it's possible that we attempted 200 picks over a season but only having 105-90 W-L record.

Yes, we will end up only having 2 remaining plays (if we chose 3 for that day) but I think that's fine. That's what we would have when we make wagers & one bet is returned because of a rain out.

i'm not understanding. Calvin said the games would be graded no action but go towards our play count. However you're saying the cubs lost that game (which they ended up winning today) but because the book graded it as a loss it's a loss?
So then it's not no-action on a rainout like Journeyman and Calvin said, it's a loss?

yes... I spoke with jman last night and we are grading this contest the same way that Betjam grades real wagers for listed pitchers, as they are the host book. I beleive the way they do it is industry standard for "Listed Pitchers" which is how this contest will be graded.

If a pitcher changes, like todays game, it is considered no action, but you still get a credit for making a play. If a game is called, postponed or whatever else.... we follow the sportsbook rule in terms of grading, specifically betjam's rules in this particular contest, so it really depends how many innings have been played or whatever else.

This happens like once a year, if that... and low and behold it happens the very first night...it's a stupid rule IMO that is somewhat outdated but that is how almost all the books grade it.
